We booked a full day tour with JJ's Jeeps to explore the Gunnison area since it was our first time there. Right from the beginning JJ tailored the day's tour to our wishes. We could not have asked for a better guide! Not only is he the nicest guy but he is extremely knowledgeable about both the geology and history of the area. He clearly loves what he does. This is apparent in his enthusiasm for showing off the various terrains, vistas and trails of the area. We saw more in a day with JJ than we would have seen in a week alone! As if that wasn't enough, he whipped out his portable bbq grill and made us a delicious lunch of grilled sausage sandwiches complete with side salads in an absolutely beautiful and peaceful setting. It was an unforgettable day and we highly recommend JJ's Jeeps tours!

It was such a fun and beautiful trip. We saw parts of Colorado we would have never been able to see. The tour was so personal and fun!! Getting to see the mine ruins was truly an amazing experience and the elk was a bonus. Highly recommend this tour!!!

Great family time -- JJ took my boys and me up a pretty steep mountain (we opted for an "adventure" ride). Kids hat a great time in the back of the Jeep as JJ also made the ride exciting for them. He had snacks & drinks for us, we got to climb to the summit close to 13,000' elevation and he took us to an old silver mine that the kids got to explore. Great day to spend with family and to go places that are typically hard to get do if you don't know your way around.

Want a spectacular time in the mountains with JJs Jeeps! Highly recommended this tour, especially if your time in nature is limited like mine. Great host, great views and conversation regarding the fauna, flora great places to eat, CO history and music. Great, fun, safe day with views that will make your jaw drop!!!

Wow what a day! First off, JJ is a great driver and beyond that, an absolute blast of a tour guide. He has a wealth of information to share about the local plants, animals and mountains that helps color in what is already a wild adventure. We explored some of the most remote and beautiful sights that Crested Butte has to offer and I couldn’t get enough. This tour is an absolute must for anyone visiting Crested Butte!

This was such an epic experience! Did a full day tour to Pearl’s Pass with JJ, accompanied by a couple doing a tagalong (where you can follow in your own vehicle) and my dog was able to come along for the ride too! There was an option to take out stand up paddle boards on a lake near the top that isn’t even named on the map that I had to take up on!! His geographical knowledge, great music, and all around solid character made him an ultimate guide for the day’s adventure. He even packed a delectable lunch for us to enjoy. Such an amazing time with some people to match. So grateful, thanks JJ!
